ZigBee! It 'Bee's around Home With just a single Click

Won't it be fascinating to possess all super powers in your fingers and coordinate everything around you as you wish. Here, is a classic approach to obtain such power. That is ZigBee.

It is a wireless technology developed as an open global standard to address the unique needs of low-cost, low-power wireless M2M networks ( Machine-Machine Networks ).

Like you can see in the picture everything can be controlled by a single device.. But Personally would you like to enjoy such power without any security issues running in background of your mind?? Well, thats a question which I cannot answer as I really got very much fascinated by this technology. To catch up with the progress, this magical thing had conquered many segments until now. Presently, many applications headed out like "Zigbee Home Automation" , " Zigbee Input Device" and so on..

On the Tech side, many chip vendors ( TI, Atmel, Free Scale, ST) had developed an unique chip which supports Zigbee apps. This protocol is really making a good deal in market. Smart energy/smart grid, AMR (Automatic Meter Reading), lighting controls, building automation systems, tank monitoring, HVAC control, medical devices and fleet applications are just some of the many spaces where Zigbee stepped in.

Many developers consider it to be more secure than the present remote connected systems. More advancements are to be seen in near future.. waiting to see a automated world soon...

Self-Confidence is always a Virtue even for a VISA Interview

With all the admits pouring in, I guess all the MS aspirants' present worry would be a VISA interview. Just as VISA carries 4 letters in it, 4 minutes of Interview can decide one's future of MS. Now that its become so important to know about Do's and Dont's I have made an attempt to project here with all the info I gathered so far. :) :)

Education Times says " Be Honest, Clear and Concise".So always be cool and composed. Start with a smile and carry it forward through out the interview. :)

Top 5 VISA Interview Questions:
1. Why have you chosen this University?
2. What do you plan to do after you Graduate?
3. Who is paying for your education and what is his/her income?
4. How do I know you will come back after Education?
5.Why dont you do this course in India?

General Documents Required:

1. Admission letter or i-20
2. Original Passport, photographs and fees
3. SEVIS fee receipt
4. VISA application form duly filled
5. Proof of funding including income tax papers
6. Grade Sheets and Degrees
7. GRE scores and TOEFL scorecard

Additional Information:

Website for Documentation : www.vfs-usa.co.in
VISA fees (approx.) : Rs. 6580
VFS and other fees: Rs. 380
SEVIS fee: $200

A common misconception is that getting VISA for a particular subject or major
is impossible. This is not at all true as the US consulate is concerned more about why you have chosen a particular college.

So folks, just be honest and dont loose your confidence at any level. All the best. Do your homework properly before giving the test :) :)

NUMBER FIVE of SAMSUNG

Now the actual puzzle for readers .. If I am rite, you might be thinking y is the title
"number 5" and y there is a foto of this person here .. Yo!! I am here just to explain that :) :) First of all, this person here is our great cutting edge researcher a.k.a number 5 of samsung.. yes guys!! its the name of a gr8 football player of IIIT Hyd Mr. Satti.. Now.. to make it more clear, ( y number 5 :S :S) In the words of our dearest Mr. Story Writer ( GBVV )

Till that day no one has ever scored a goal against IIIT-H in the City of Nawabs(Hyderabad). ISB challenged IIIT-H in a friendly match (which was not!!!). The challenge was accepted and IIIT-H students excitement about their team crushing ISB, was like a water bubble after seeing ISB team. OMG!!! are they soccer players or rugby players???!!!!. I can feel the difference in air, it’s heavy and intense. Everyone knew that it’s no ordinary match, the ground is filled with spectators from all colleges. It was expected to be a game of skill but turned out to be a game of strength. Fair enough, thought the non-IIIT janta. It was half time and the scores were 3-0 in favor of ISB. IIIT-H’s key players are badly injured and there was no other choice but to have a first year in the team. This shattered the hopes of the remaining IIIT-H spectators and added to the excitement of outsiders. But, that fresher is no ordinary player, I can say by the way he entered the ground. I can see the excitement to showcase his moves and confidence in his face. Whistle was blown and the moment he got the pass, ball was in the opponent’s goalpost. Everyone was dumbstruck by his performance. It started to rain heavily and neither the rain nor the angry ISB team was able to stop him. The crowd started pouring in to watch skill dominating strength once again. Ohhh!!! god these girls they never change, they were ready with flower bouquets :P :P. Now folks !! This person is none other than our dear SATISH. |
P.S : This is supposed to be the part one of the story and dont forget ... its a TRUE STORY

U might be thinking "arey yaar!! ye number 5 kya hain.. phir se confusion!!! :S" ..
see you in the next post ;)

Freak OR Geek

Software puppets come under only two classesFREEK or a GEEK!!!!!! I will tell you my own experience regarding this. First day, I entered this Conference room and as usual I was late by 5 minutes ;) ;) .. and I really thought there was mourning going on it was so damn silent except for the sounds of file openings, paper turnings and slight whispers from the excited novice "software engineers"!!! This term itself makes oneself feel as if they r in a total different world.. which btw is called "THE CORPORATE WORLD". And it followed by an exclusive ice-breaking session, even though it was meant to be that, it was more like a memory test (DAMN!! again competition..) and I saw every one on their feet trying to be Mr. / Ms. Perfect on their first day of this fascinating universe. Finally, got all the tools to enter the field of battle for the rest of our corporate lives. Now starts the funniest part, everyone sits in a polar region!! and being continuously tortured by stupid lectures and sessions explaining values and processes of the company.. Why the hell are we working here!! My god.. more than doing a project its process that freaks us out.. With the completion of induction program spanning 15days of my precious life!! :( :( .. Then I understood that to survive in this JUNGLE, sorry COLD jungle( precisely) either you need to be a complete geek or they turn you into a complete FREAK!!!

Nite Canteen!!

May be it seems very silly why am I so excited about a night canteen so much that I even started writing a post about it. But in our hostels it really had become such a big deal!! I guess this was my dream in first year mainly during xamsss wen I desperately desired for one cup coffee bt was so lazy to prepare one. One day Somreeta and I were discussing about the Techno which made us so jealous about guys who always have had the chance to hang out even at late nights. We were even planning and dreaming of a day wen we gals have the chance to eat in nite jhoops. After all these stupid and unfruitful discussions we slept off with despair. I guess I was eating lunch in mess wen suddenly lalli told me about the new tender that might click on which includes nite canteen. But I thought this is the usual "NIT DGP" agenda, so I was not at all interested and beleiving. Finally the wait is over!!! I could see that night canteen was open. I couldnot go on first day since I was sleeping :D but heard a lot about sandwiches. And the second day Somreeta and I went down to canteen to eat sandwich but alas!!! gas was finished. I was very much dissapointed but immediately marshi asked us to wait for few minutes before she could solve the problem. And guess wat!! that sandwich was an awesum piece that I had ever tasted in mah life!!!!! I can never forget the first bite I had. It realllyyy roxxx!!!!!! Also one more thing really amuses me.. When I come out of mah room I always saw a quite hostel, everyone busy wid their own laptops.. but now I can see groups and groups f gals hanging out which is very much eye catching :) :P

Love in December - club 8

Why cant it be simple !!!

I always wanted to write one blog. Then I started with the process, starting from the creation of the blog. Then appeared the real task of naming the blog. This is the time when I was wondering what should be the name of my blog. Many words flashed in the mind. But I did not find anything interesting. Immediately, one word occurred "Word Web" and I started searching for very good words. I was clueless of what exactly I am searching for. Still I did not give up. I know many simple words but there was no satisfaction in using them. I always felt simplicity rocks but here I am, a typical "Human being" thinking of a few complex and attractive words. Then I was recollecting all the Barron's words I had studied earlier, this is the part when I had reached the heights, I started thinking of all the German words I knew!!! Then finally I named my blog as "Fuller strokes" which meant Pen strokes in English. It would have saved me lot of time if I was satisfied with the simple stuff like pen instead of thinking so far(till German). This is how life works. We are always attracted to the complex stuff and end up in complications. Really Simplicity rocks. Finally I have decided to practice one.
